Structural Engineer

General Precast Concrete Ltd is looking to engage an experienced Structural Engineer on a full-time basis. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in structural engineering, with proven experience in precast concrete design and structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for structural design and calculations, reviewing and coordinating structural and precast drawings, and providing technical support throughout the manufacturing and erection stages of projects. Requirements:

Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer.
Extensive experience in precast concrete is essential.
Strong knowledge of structural design and relevant Eurocodes.
Experience in precast detailing, connections, and structural calculations.
Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, draughtspersons, production, and site teams.

Proven experience in precast concrete detailing and drafting.
Proficiency in TEKLA Structures.
Good knowledge and experience in BIM (Building Information Modelling).
The ability to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings.
Experience working with structural and architectural drawings.
